Former New York Knicks shooting guard Allan Houston is the favorite to become the team’s next GM.
He is currently functioning as the special assistant to the team president, giving him the inside track.
It’s good that Houston is gaining some experience, but I find it hard to believe he is ready for such a high profile job.
Isiah Thomas is also trying to return to the position and is considered another possible candidate. ( Read More…)

New York Knicks big man Eddy Curry was not present for the team’s play in summer league.
That doesn’t go over particularly well with head coach Mike D’ Antoni, who is expected a higher level of committment from him.
D’ Antoni said he is hopeful that Curry is working hard in the offseason and will come to camp ready to play.
It’s looking less and less likely that Curry plays any type of significant role with New York next season. ( Read More…)

The New York Knicks have signed forward Amare Stoudemire to a five-year contract worth almost $100 million.
Stoudemire has quickly started to hype up his new home, saying Tony Parker and Carmelo Anthony are ready to join him next year.
