Knicks among teams interested in Fredette

As the NBA Draft nears, the excitement around BYU point guard Jimmer Fredette is starting to grow.

A number of teams have liked Fredette since his college days, but it seems that his performance in workouts has only increased his stock.

The New York Knicks are among a number of teams that would like to land Fredette and could trade up to get him.

The Knicks are in need of a point guard, and it seems unlikely that they will be able to swing a trade for New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul.

New York will have to be weary of a number of teams, most notably the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz, who could select Fredette before it is their turn to pick
