Knicks finally acquire Anthony from Nuggets

The New York Knicks have finally landed All-Star Carmelo Anthony in a trade with the Denver Nuggets.

The three-way trade saw the Knicks send Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, a first round draft pick, two second round picks, future draft considerations and cash to obtain the forward.

While the move has excited a large part of the fanbase, there is plenty of concern over all that the team had to give up to get Anthony.

Amare Stoudemire isn’t worried, saying that he gives the Knicks two top scoring options that will make them very hard to guard.

Anthony wanted to come to New York, to return to the East Coast and to get a chance to play on a big stage, so it all worked out for him in the end.
